Project title: Intensifying waste water treatment using purple phototrophic bacteria, side glowing fibres, and near infrared light

About me: I was born in Long Beach, California before moving to Houston, Texas where I grew up. I came to Guelph in 2018 to obtain my BSc in Marine and Freshwater Biology which is when I first met Dr. Heyland. I am now in my second semester of my masters where I am investigating intensifying wastewater treatment using purple bacteria!
